Set up a collaboration project

Context Relay supplies scoped evidence and authored guidance. It does not create ChatGPT projects or upload files through MCP.

  1. Generate a starter package using corepack pnpm project-package NEW_DIRECTORY from app/, or request the project-setup workflow in ChatGPT.
  2. Select an existing ChatGPT project or create one manually. Preserve its name, instructions and source mappings. Back up existing instructions before edits.
  3. Read the addendum. Adapt it to your project and append only relevant guidance.
  4. Review the source index; upload selected Markdown sources, including appropriate workflows. Do not upload credentials, link grants or complete repository dumps.
  5. Check that both previous instructions and the additions are present. Ask the project to identify its source documents and their versions.
  6. Connect your own authorized MCP, supply a task link privately, and test overview followed by one permitted file or task message. Record actual results.

Uploaded documents are versioned snapshots, not installed tools. Refresh changing repository/task evidence through MCP. For upgrades, compare versions, replace only reviewed package sources, and preserve unrelated user-owned materials. Browser assistance is optional and requires available, authorized controls.
